Can you build any kind of software?
If it runs on a computer, phone, server or in the cloud, we can very likely build it. We have delivered business software since 1999 across web, desktop, integration and data. If an existing product would solve your problem more cheaply, we will tell you — we recommend the simplest solution that will last.
Do you build desktop applications as well as web applications?
Yes. We build Windows desktop software (WPF, WinForms and Windows services), cross-platform desktop and mobile apps (.NET MAUI and Electron), web applications and portals, and background services that run on a server or in the cloud.
Can you build a small desktop application to send SMS?
Yes — this is a typical small, fixed-price project. A simple Windows app can import contacts or a CSV list, use message templates, send single or bulk SMS through a gateway such as Twilio or ClickSend, and show delivery reports. It can also connect to your CRM or database.
Can you develop a student portal or education web application?
Yes. We build student, parent and staff portals for enrolments, timetables, results, assessments, documents and payments, with secure single sign-on and integration with your student or learning management system.
Can you build software that runs on a schedule, such as sending emails every night?
Yes. We build scheduled and background jobs that run every few minutes, nightly, monthly or when an event happens — sending emails or SMS, generating reports, syncing data or moving files. Every job has a run history and alerts you if anything fails.
Can you print packing labels and barcodes using data from another system?
Yes. We build software that pulls order and carton data from your ERP or warehouse system and prints packing labels, barcodes, QR codes and packing slips on Zebra and other thermal printers — on demand or fully automatically.
Do we get the source code?
Yes. For software we build for you, you receive the full source code, documentation and deployment scripts. You own it, and any competent developer can maintain it.
Can you migrate data from an FTP or SFTP location to Firebase?
Yes. A scheduled job collects CSV, JSON or XML files from the FTP or SFTP server, validates every record, transforms it into the structure you need and writes it to Cloud Firestore or the Realtime Database, logging each run and alerting you to any rejected rows.
How do you migrate a SQL Server database to a data warehouse — and can it be done affordably?
We build pipelines that copy and model your data into a warehouse such as Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse, Snowflake or BigQuery, ready for Power BI. For smaller businesses a simple nightly copy into a low-cost cloud database keeps costs down; larger organisations get incremental loads, a modelled warehouse and monitoring. We size the solution to your budget.
Can you migrate legacy data into Business Central or Acumatica?
Yes. We extract data from old ERPs, Access, SQL databases and spreadsheets, cleanse and de-duplicate it, map it to Business Central or Acumatica, run trial migrations and reconcile counts and balances with you before the final cut-over.
How do you sync POS sales orders to Acumatica or a CRM?
The integration listens for new sales in your POS — through a webhook, the POS API or its database — maps customers, items, tax and payments, and creates the matching sales order in Acumatica or Dynamics 365 through their APIs. Failures are retried automatically and reported, and stock and invoice updates can flow back.
Can you integrate systems that don’t have an API?
Usually, yes. We can integrate through the system’s database, scheduled file exports and imports, a small API we add to it, or — as a last resort — screen automation. We will recommend the most reliable option for your system.
Can you move images stored in a SQL database to Azure Blob Storage?
Yes. We extract each image from the database, give it a consistent name, optionally resize or compress it, upload it to Azure Blob Storage (often behind a CDN) and write the new URL back to your database — verifying every file so nothing is lost.
Can you send our data to a third party’s API endpoint?
Yes. We read the records from your database or files, convert them into the format the endpoint expects (REST, SOAP, JSON or XML), handle authentication and rate limits, retry failures and keep an audit log of everything sent.
Can you calculate delivery costs using a carrier or freight API?
Yes. Your system sends the package weight, dimensions and delivery address to your carriers or a freight aggregator, receives the available rates and delivery times, and can book the best option and save the label and tracking number against the order.
What is the difference between data migration and data integration?
Data migration is a one-off move of data from an old system to a new one, such as a legacy database into Business Central. Data integration is ongoing: it keeps two or more systems in sync, such as sending every new POS sale to Acumatica. Many projects need both.
What is ETL?
ETL stands for extract, transform and load — reading data from a source, converting it into the right structure and quality, and loading it into a target such as an ERP, database or data warehouse. It’s the core technique behind most data migrations and reporting pipelines.
How do you keep data secure during migration and integration?
We use encrypted connections, least-privilege accounts, secrets stored in a secure vault rather than in code, and masked data for testing where possible. Data can be kept in Australian Azure regions, and we design to suit the Australian Privacy Act.
Which ERP, CRM and database systems can you work with?
Acumatica, Business Central, Dynamics 365 and Dataverse, MYOB, Xero, NetSuite, SAP, Salesforce, HubSpot and Shopify, plus SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Firebase, Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake and any system with a REST or SOAP API, files or a database we can reach.
How much does custom software or a data migration cost?
It depends on the scope: the number of systems, the volume and quality of the data, and how much logic is involved. Small tools and simple one-off migrations can be delivered for a modest fixed price; larger platforms are delivered in phases. After a free requirements analysis we give you a clear quote.
How long does a data migration take?
A straightforward migration of one database can take days to a couple of weeks. ERP migrations that include data cleansing, several trial loads and reconciliation usually run over several weeks, planned around your go-live date.
Do you offer fixed-price projects?
Yes. Well-defined projects — such as a desktop app, an integration or a migration — can be delivered at a fixed price with agreed milestones. Evolving products suit an agile team with a monthly budget you control.
Can we start with a small proof of concept?
Yes. A short proof of concept is a good way to test a risky integration, a data migration approach or an unusual requirement before committing to the full project.
Can we outsource only part of our ongoing project?
Yes. We can take one module, an integration, a migration or a backlog of features while your team continues with the rest. We follow your coding standards, use your tools and hand over clean, documented code.
Will your developers work with our in-house team and tools?
Yes. Our developers join your stand-ups and sprint ceremonies and work in your Jira or Azure DevOps boards and your GitHub, GitLab or Azure Repos repositories, communicating through Teams or Slack.
Can you take over a project another developer started?
