Governance from day one: environments, DLP, ALM
Fixed price from AU$25,000 · live in 4–12 weeks
Most businesses already own Microsoft 365 ➜ yet quotes, approvals and job sheets still live in spreadsheets and email ➜ and the Copilot pilot stalled because it couldn’t see the ERP.
Microsoft Power Platform turns those processes into apps, automated flows, live reports and AI agents — inside the Microsoft 365 you already pay for, connected to Business Central and governed properly.
The result: hours back every week, fewer errors and AI that actually does work.
What is Microsoft Power Platform — and how does it work with Microsoft 365?
Microsoft Power Platform is Microsoft’s low-code platform for building business apps, automating processes, analysing data and creating AI agents. It includes Power Apps (apps for phone, tablet and desktop), Power Automate (workflow and robotic process automation), Power BI (reporting), Copilot Studio (AI agents) and Power Pages (external portals), all sharing data through Dataverse and more than 1,000 connectors. It sits on top of Microsoft 365 — Teams, Outlook, SharePoint and Excel — and connects to Dynamics 365 Business Central, SQL and almost any system with an API. Eagle360 is a Microsoft partner in Sydney and Melbourne that builds governed Power Platform solutions and Copilot agents for Australian mid-market businesses, at a fixed price from AU$25,000.
Is Power Apps included in Microsoft 365?
Partly. Many Microsoft 365 plans let you build apps and flows with standard connectors such as SharePoint, Outlook and Teams. Connecting to Business Central, SQL or Dataverse needs a Premium licence — from AU$29.90 per user per month for Power Apps.
Power Platform or Microsoft 365 Copilot?
Both, for different jobs. Microsoft 365 Copilot helps people work faster in Word, Outlook and Teams. Power Platform builds the apps, automations and agents that run your processes and connect to your ERP.
How much does a project cost?
Our fixed-price engagements start from AU$25,000, and Copilot agents typically cost AU$25,000–AU$120,000. Simple apps go live in 4–6 weeks after a one-week discovery.

Power Apps or Power Automate — which do I need?
Power Apps is for screens people use — forms, lists, mobile apps. Power Automate is for work that happens without a screen — moving data, approvals, notifications. Most solutions use both: the app captures the data and a flow does the rest.

Business Central MCP server
Agents that don’t just answer — they act in Business Central
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard, introduced by Anthropic in late 2024, that lets AI agents discover and use tools. Our custom Business Central MCP server exposes sales orders, customers, items, journals and postings, so your agents can read, write and orchestrate ERP work safely.
- You ask in Teams: “Create an order for Coastal Builders — 50 helmets, deliver Tuesday.”
- The agent finds the customer and the item in Business Central.
- It checks stock and the delivery date.

What is Microsoft Power Platform?
Microsoft Power Platform is Microsoft’s low-code platform for business solutions. It includes Power Apps for apps, Power Automate for workflow and robotic process automation, Power BI for reporting, Copilot Studio for AI agents and Power Pages for external portals. They share data through Dataverse and more than 1,000 connectors, and work with Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365 and Azure.
What is the difference between Power Platform and Microsoft 365?
Microsoft 365 is the productivity suite — Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, SharePoint — where people communicate and create documents. Power Platform builds custom apps, automations, reports and agents on top of Microsoft 365 and your other systems, so your own business processes run in the same environment.
Is Power Apps included in Microsoft 365?
Many Microsoft 365 plans include rights to use Power Apps and Power Automate with standard connectors such as SharePoint, Outlook and Teams. Premium connectors — including Business Central, SQL Server and Dataverse — require Power Apps Premium or Power Automate Premium licences.
What is the difference between Power Apps and Power Automate?
Power Apps provides the screens people use — forms, lists and mobile apps. Power Automate does work in the background — approvals, notifications, document generation and moving data between systems, including desktop flows (RPA) for legacy applications. Most solutions combine both.
What does a Power Platform consultant do?
A Power Platform consultant designs, builds, integrates and governs apps, flows, reports and agents. At Eagle360 that also means connecting them properly to Dynamics 365 Business Central and setting up environments, security and deployment from the first project.
Can Power Apps connect to Dynamics 365 Business Central?
Yes. Power Apps and Power Automate connect to Business Central through its connector and APIs to read and write customers, items, sales orders and journals, using each user’s Business Central permissions. We also build custom connectors where the standard one is not enough.
How long does it take to build a Power App?
After a one-week discovery, a simple app typically takes 4–6 weeks, a complex app 10–12 weeks and a multi-app suite 16–24 weeks. We agree the scope and fixed price before development starts.
Can Power Platform automate a legacy system that has no API?
Yes. Power Automate desktop flows (robotic process automation) operate the screens of older Windows and web applications like a person would. They can run attended alongside a user or unattended on a Process licence.
Should we use SharePoint Lists, Dataverse or SQL for our app?
SharePoint Lists suit small, simple apps. Dataverse suits business-critical apps that need security roles, relationships, auditing and scale. SQL Server suits existing databases. We recommend the data store per app and plan licences to match.
Can Power Apps work offline on mobile devices?
Yes. Canvas apps run on iOS and Android and can be designed to work offline, then sync when the device reconnects — useful for field technicians, drivers and warehouses.
What is Copilot Studio?
Copilot Studio is Microsoft’s tool for building AI agents. Agents answer questions from your business data, take actions in your systems and run in Teams, Microsoft 365 Copilot, your website and other channels, using Microsoft 365 security and permissions.
How is Copilot Studio different from ChatGPT?
Copilot Studio agents use your business data, respect each user’s permissions, can take actions such as drafting orders or sending emails, and run inside Microsoft 365. A general chatbot only knows what you paste into it and cannot act in your systems.
What is Microsoft 365 Copilot?
Microsoft 365 Copilot is an AI assistant in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams that works with your emails, files, chats and meetings, plus prebuilt agents such as Researcher and Analyst. Copilot Chat, a web-grounded assistant, is included at no extra cost with eligible Microsoft 365 plans.
What is an MCP server, and do we need one for Business Central?
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard, introduced by Anthropic in late 2024, that lets AI agents discover and use tools at runtime. A Business Central MCP server exposes sales orders, customers, items, journals and postings to your agents. It pays off when you plan several agents that need to work with the ERP.
Can Copilot agents take actions in our ERP safely?
Yes. Agents run under the signed-in user’s Microsoft Entra ID identity and Business Central permissions, every action is recorded in an audit log, and high-risk actions such as posting or approving require a human approval step.
How do we get value from Microsoft 365 Copilot licences?
Start with data readiness — clean permissions in SharePoint and Teams — then pick 3–5 high-value use cases, train people by role, add agents grounded in your business data and track adoption with Copilot analytics.
How much does Power Platform cost in Australia?
Microsoft’s Australian list prices, excluding GST and paid yearly (checked October 2026), are AU$29.90 per user per month for Power Apps Premium, AU$22.40 for Power Automate Premium, AU$224.50 per bot per month for the Power Automate Process plan and AU$21.00 for Power BI Pro. Microsoft has announced a Power Apps Premium price increase for terms starting on or after 1 January 2027.
How much does Microsoft 365 Copilot cost in Australia?
Microsoft lists Microsoft 365 Copilot at AU$44.90 per user per month on an annual plan, excluding GST. Microsoft 365 Copilot Business, for organisations with up to 300 users, lists at AU$31.40 per user per month, with a promotional AU$26.91 until 31 December 2026 for eligible customers.
How much do Copilot Studio agents cost?
Copilot Studio capacity costs AU$299.30 per month for a pack of 25,000 Copilot Credits, or you can pay as you go through Azure. Internal agents used by Microsoft 365 Copilot licensed users are included in their licence. Building an agent with Eagle360 typically costs AU$25,000–AU$120,000, depending on data sources and actions.
What does a Power Platform project with Eagle360 cost?
Our fixed-price engagements start from AU$25,000, with most projects reaching production in 4–12 weeks. Microsoft licences are additional, and we help you choose the right mix so you don’t pay for premium licences you don’t need.
Are there hidden costs?
Costs people forget include premium licences for users of apps that use premium connectors, Dataverse storage beyond the included capacity, Copilot Credits for external agents and ongoing support. Our proposals list all of these up front.
Is Power Platform secure?
Yes, when it is governed. Users sign in with Microsoft Entra ID, Dataverse security roles control access to data, data loss prevention policies block risky connector combinations, activity is audited and environments can be kept in Australia.
What is Power Platform governance?
Governance is the set of rules that lets people build safely: an environment strategy for development, test and production; data loss prevention policies; managed environments; solution-based application lifecycle management with deployment pipelines; and the Centre of Excellence toolkit to see who built what.
What is a Centre of Excellence (CoE)?
A Centre of Excellence is the team, standards and Microsoft CoE toolkit that monitor your Power Platform, support citizen developers, and turn good ideas into supported solutions. We set it up and train your people to run it.
We already have hundreds of apps and flows. Can you help?
Yes. We inventory what exists, find critical flows running under personal accounts, move important solutions into managed environments with proper owners, apply DLP policies and retire what nobody uses — without stopping the business.
Why choose Eagle360 over a freelancer or a large integrator?
You get Business Central expertise at the core, governance in every engagement, fixed prices from AU$25,000 rather than open-ended time and materials, production in 4–12 weeks and senior consultants in Sydney and Melbourne.
Do you work with our own citizen developers?
Yes. We set up guardrails, templates and training so your makers can build safely, and we take on the complex integrations, agents and governance work.
Do you provide ongoing support?
Yes. Managed services cover monitoring, fixes, enhancements, Microsoft update readiness, licence optimisation and training for Australian and New Zealand customers.
