The Iconic are one of the largest online fashion retail sites in Australia.  Eagle360 Consulting have implemented Microsoft Dynamics and Tasklet Factory together with integration to their e-commerce website. At the beginning of the project the warehouse was only capable of handling 600 orders a day, after process review with Eagle360 and implementation of Tasklet Factory the Iconic were shipping over twenty thousand orders a day from their Warehouse. The implementation of a fully integrated Warehouse Management Solution allowed the business to optimise their processes in the warehouse.

Through the use of MS Dynamics and Tasklet Factory, the business was able to easily allocate tasks in the warehouse, integrate with a freight integration solution and automate the emailing of tracking information and invoices to customers.

Additional benefits to the improved warehouse processes included; efficient receival to payment of goods leading to better relationships with suppliers. The company was also able to benefit from negotiated payment discounts on invoices through more efficient invoice processing.

The use of Directed Put-Aways and Picks led to more accurate Picks for orders and quicker turnaround times for their 3-hour delivery system.

Cycle counts and stock takes were made more efficient by implementation of the Scan Gun solution Tasklet Factory, this improved employee morale in their warehouse and operations departments.

Through the Implementation of Microsoft Dynamics and Tasklet Factory the Iconic managed to:

Returns Management is an import part of the fashion retail business, Eagle60 developed a returns management system for the Warehouse fully integrated to the website for customers to advise the Iconic of pending returns. Customer confidence in the returns and refund process increased significantly which has led to the exponential growth of number of Orders per day. Over the past 6 years since the implementation of Dynamics, the Iconic has gone on to become Australia’s biggest online fashion Retailer and won several accolades in the Retail Awards in the past 6 Years.

Multapex are a wholesale distributor of flexible Packaging solutions for Retail industry and they also offer solutions for the Agriculture and Viticulture Industry. Being an importer of Raw Materials from all over the world Multapex faced challenges with foreign currency and production. To Solve these problems Multapex selected Microsoft Dynamics .

Eagle360 worked with Multapex to implement Microsoft Dynamics for the business. This included the implementation of a custom currency Hedging solution designed to maintain FX purchase facilities against Purchase Orders.  The Eagle360’s FX and Hedging solution allows Multapex to make foreign currency purchases and assign purchase orders to contracts allowing for easy tracking of costs and profitability. This also allows tracking the cost of FX gains and losses and the cost of money to the business and its effect on the overall profitability of the business.

Microsoft Dynamics is also integrated to the custom manufacturing solution, used specifically for a process called slitting. The integration enables efficient Sales Order to production and shipment. This allows the business to operate with relatively small number of sales order processing staff.

Eagle360 Consulting’s Landed Cost Module is used to calculate accurate landing costs of products and allocation of imports costs. In a bid to create a paperless office Multapex uses the Eagle360’s PDF-Emailing  system to send most of the customer and Vendor facing documents such as Purchase Order confirmations, Remittance Advices, Sales Invoices and Customer Statements.


Directus 40 years food industry
CUSTOMER NAME:  Directus International
SOLUTION:  Microsoft Dynamics, Microsoft Dynamics CRM/Dynamics 365

 
Eagle360 Consulting worked with Directus International to Implement Microsoft Dynamics, Dynamics 365 Sales and streamline processes within the business at the same time adding automation of mundane tasks. Directus have offices in Australia, New Zealand and the USA. The scope of the implementation also included the integration to 3rd-Party Logistics partners and EDI providers for Australia and New Zealand.

Due to the high volume of work that is required in the import business, Directus decided to reduce manual printing of documents where possible, as a result there was need for automation of emailing of documents to suppliers, customers and third-party contracts involved with their business.

Eagle360 Consulting worked closely with the Finance Director at Directus Australia in scoping the integrations and the automations which were required before the start of the development process. For most projects to succeed senior management need to be involved and actively participate, the CEO of Directus was involved in the weekly project briefings and was active member in scoping sessions which made it easier for Eagle360 to get approval on decisions and process changes.

The Project consisted of a number of integrations to other supporting systems;

  • EDI – EDI which integrates with Woolworths and Coles
  • 3PL
  • Dynamics 365 Sales

PowerBI is also used at Directus for reporting from Dynamics NAV, Dynamics 365 Sales and creation of Dashboards.

Eagle360 Consulting leveraged its existing knowledge of Directus environment to implement and Go Live within 3 months.  The Sure-step methodology was used for implementation, and this proved to be a success.

Outcome and benefits

Eagle360’s Project Management tools allowed Directus to have access to project progress as well as track time usage. The teams worked collaboratively using a combination of Microsoft tools integrated with Atlassian JIRA.
